Dr Tan Jee Lim,
Associate Consultant,
Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

A sports enthusiast, who is an avid golfer and a swimmer, Dr Tan has a keen interest in sports injury.

Having graduated from the NUS' medical faculty in 1990, he finished his basic surgical training four years later. With a HMDP in Sports Medicine, which he did at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic, Ontario, Canada as a Clinical Fellow, Dr Tan specialises in knee injuries in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery . He also obtained a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine.


Specialising in knee injuries, Dr Tan is also the team physician to football teams Clementi Khalsa and Marine Castle.

     
Besides sitting on the medical committee of the Football Association of Singapore which oversees medical issues relating to the national team, he is also the team physician to the Clementi Khalsa and Marine Castle teams.

Dr Tan was also involved in drawing up a screening programme for all professional football players in the S League to undergo a medical screening before participation.
