Happy Healthy Festive Feasting Tips

Good health is essential to enjoying a good life. To help you keep fit
and healthy for the brand new year, our Dietetics and Catering department
would like to share some practical health tips with you.
   
  1. Enjoy a variety of food.
  2. Say 'no' to creamy and sugary food.
  3. Eat lean meat that is tasty but not deep fried.
  4. Do not eat merrily and non-stop throughout the day and night.
  5. At individual meal times, eat a balanced meal and not just meat or poultry only.
  1. Join in the celebration "toast" with minimal or no fizzy drinks and alcohol
  2. To avoid excessive eating, eat a light snack before any heavy meal.
  3. Designate a "diet" day following all the festive feasting by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.
  4. When all else fails, have a salad!
  5. To enjoy another season of festive feasting, remember to exercise regularly all year long.
