Changi General Hospital is just 400 metres from the Simei MRT Station.
It is easily accessible via three expressways- Pan Island Expressway,
East Coast Parkway and Tampines Expressway. The hospital is also in close

The hospital’s services are housed under a nine-storey
building with a gross area of 127,070 square metres. Occupying a land
area of 5.2 hectares, the hospital has 26 wards with a total of 790 beds.
Twenty-two specialist clinics with a total of almost 100 consultation rooms cater
to the outpatient needs of the community.
Changi General Hospital has been designed to optimise
manpower, energy, and land. The wards are located in tower blocks that
have a north-south orientation, minimising direct sunlight while capitalising
on the north-east and south-east prevailing wind directions.
This hospital is well equipped with modern technology
such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Spiral Computed Tomography (CT)
Scan and Cardiac Catheterisation.There are also labour saving technologies,
which maximise operational effectiveness and efficiency. These include
Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), Pneumatic Tube and Pneumatic Chute Systems.
The interior design is colourful and intentionally non-institutional
looking to cheer patients. Landscaped gardens and water features create
