Diabetes Centre Services

Diabetic patients can now receive comprehensive care and education for their condition at our self-contained, one-stop Diabetes Centre.

Full Assessment and Review Clinic

Patients with diabetes are at risk of developing blindness, kidney failure, heart disease, foot ulcer & amputations, arising as complications of poorly controlled diabetes. The objectives of the full assessment & review clinic are:
  • To assess diabetes control
  • To look for long-term complications & prevent deterioration of these complications affecting the eyes, kidneys, nerves etc.
  • To educate & empower patients
Serial 6 Monthly Review of HbA1c

It is recommended that the patient should be assessed at regular intervals to ensure that metabolic control is achieved. If diabetes control is not acceptable, further diabetes education is required and the management plan is reviewed.
