Good health cannot be taken for granted. Our modern lifestyle predisposes us to chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and heart disease. Fortunately, many of these illnesses can be detected early and treated to prevent further complications.

An effective way of keeping track of your health is through regular health screening.

What does health screening involve?

Health screening involves the use of tests, physical examinations or other procedures to detect disease early in people who look or feel well. This is different from diagnostic tests which are done when someone is already showing signs and/or symptoms of a disease.

Screening is conducted over two outpatient visits by appointment. On your first visit, you will be examined by our doctor to assess your medical conditions, risk factors for various diseases and current health status. Our doctor will also have a discussion with you regarding the suitability of your chosen package. The health screening tests/procedures depending on the type of package selected will take 2 to 4 hours to complete.

On your second visit, you will receive a personalized medical report on your test results and overall health status, as well as advice on how you can improve or maintain your health. Where appropriate, our doctors will refer you to specialist doctors for further evaluation and management.

Making an Appointment

How do I make an appointment?
Appointments can be made by contacting our Appointment Centre at 6850 3333 during operating hours.

Can I walk-in for a consultation/ Do I have to book an appointment for a consultation?
Health Screening consultations are strictly by appointment only. You may contact our Appointment centre at 6850 3333 to make, change or cancel an appointment during operating hours.

Can I make an appointment for health screening on Weekends?
Health screening is available from Mondays to Fridays. The initial visits are scheduled in the morning (before 9am) as patients need to be adequately fasted. Additional tests are also scheduled in the morning.

Going for your Health Screening Appointment

What should I do before screening?
Please note the important reminders (click here) before going for your health screening appointment.

You are required to fast for at least 10 hours from the night before your appointment (i.e. do not eat or drink from 10.30pm). Plain water is allowed. This will ensure better accuracy in your cholesterol and glucose results.

We will also provide you with a meal voucher after the blood test.

If you are on any medication, you are advised to bring it along with you on the day of screening so that you can take your medication after the blood tests are taken.

How long will the health screening take?
The health screening typically takes about 2 to 4 hours to complete depending on the type of package selected.

Will a medical certificate (MC) be issued for health screening?
MCs can be provided upon request but it will be reflected as issued under "Health Screening". You may wish to check with your Employer/HR beforehand if this is accepted under your company policy.

What should I do after screening?
At the end of your screening if your results are normal, continue to go for regular screening as recommended by the doctor.

If your screening results are abnormal, our doctor will recommend additional tests or treatments and if necessary refer you to specialist doctors for further evaluation and management. Please also note that while every effort will be made to schedule all investigations on the day of your initial visit, there may be occasions when additional tests (e.g. ultrasound scans and the Treadmill exercise test) have to be arranged on a separate day.

Can I have the medical report mailed to me instead?
Medical reports can be posted upon request but only to local addresses.

Subsidies & Payment Modes

What are the payment modes available?
Payment can be made by Cash, NETS or Credit card.

Can I use Medisave to pay?
Medisave can be used for standard screening mammogram views for Singaporean women above the age of 50.

Are there any subsidies for screening?
All screening packages are charged at the prevailing rates, and there are no subsidies granted.
